Recent reports suggest that the company could introduce the new devices with upgraded performance hardware, improved displays, and significantly larger batteries. Although POCO has not officially confirmed the launch yet, leaks indicate that the X8 Pro series may arrive with powerful MediaTek processors and high refresh-rate OLED displays.
According to early information circulating online, the upcoming smartphones are expected to include the POCO X8 Pro and a higher-end POCO X8 Pro Max. These devices may focus heavily on performance and battery life, two areas where POCO has traditionally targeted power users and mobile gamers. The Pro Max model is rumored to feature one of the largest batteries ever seen in a mainstream smartphone.
The POCO X8 Pro is expected to feature a large OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. The phone may launch with multiple RAM and storage variants, potentially including configurations such as 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.
Meanwhile, the POCO X8 Pro Max is tipped to arrive with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. One of the biggest highlights of the device could be its massive 9000mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging, which could offer extended battery life for gaming, streaming, and heavy usage.
POCO X Series Expansion
If the leaks turn out to be accurate, the upcoming devices will expand POCO’s popular X-series portfolio in India. The series has historically focused on delivering strong performance and competitive pricing, making it popular among users looking for powerful smartphones in the mid-range segment. With upgraded processors, larger batteries, and high refresh-rate displays, the POCO X8 Pro series could continue that strategy and attract performance-focused buyers.
