iQOO 15R India Launch Confirmed for February 24: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 7600mAh Battery and 144Hz AMOLED

iQOO is gearing up to strengthen its flagship presence in India with the upcoming iQOO 15R. According to official teasers and industry reports, the smartphone is scheduled to launch in India on February 24, 2026. Positioned as a performance-centric flagship, the iQOO 15R focuses on raw power, long battery endurance, and a high-refresh display—targeting gamers and heavy users without pushing into ultra-premium pricing.

Design and Display: Built for Performance Enthusiasts

iQOO 15R features a clean rear design with a flat camera layout and premium matte finish.

The iQOO 15R adopts a clean and aggressive design language that prioritizes usability. Official teasers suggest a flat rear panel with a minimal camera housing, allowing the device to sit evenly on flat surfaces. The phone is expected to feature a sturdy frame with a matte-textured back panel designed to reduce fingerprints while improving grip during extended gaming sessions.

On the front, the iQOO 15R is expected to sport a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. This high refresh panel is aimed at competitive gaming and fluid scrolling, placing the device among the fastest displays in its segment. Peak brightness and HDR support are also expected to ensure good outdoor visibility and media playback quality.

Performance and Hardware Specifications

At the heart of the iQOO 15R lies the flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, making it one of the most powerful smartphones in its category. Paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and fast UFS storage, the device is expected to handle intensive gaming, video editing, and multitasking with ease.

Battery Life and Camera Capabilities

One of the standout features of the iQOO 15R is its massive 7600mAh battery. Designed for users who demand all-day endurance, the battery is expected to comfortably support extended gaming sessions and heavy multimedia usage. Fast charging support ensures minimal downtime despite the large battery capacity.

In the camera department, the iQOO 15R is expected to feature a 50MP primary sensor supported by an ultra-wide lens. While the camera setup prioritizes practicality over experimentation, iQOO is likely to leverage advanced image processing for improved dynamic range, night photography, and video stabilization. The focus remains on delivering reliable results rather than chasing high megapixel numbers.

Expected Price and Availability in India

The iQOO 15R is expected to launch in India at a starting price of around ₹49,999, positioning it competitively in the premium performance segment. Sales are likely to begin shortly after launch via Amazon India and iQOO’s official online store, with bank discounts and exchange offers expected during the initial sale period.
